From Wikipedia: “The male seahorse is equipped with a brood pouch on the ventral, or front-facing, side. When mating, the female seahorse deposits the eggs in the male’s pouch, which the male then internally fertilizes. The male carries the eggs until they emerge, expelling fully-developed, miniature seahorses in the water.”

NPR did a decent job of summarizing how “NBC’s broken Olympic coverage manages to annoy absolutely everyone.”
My own take is quite simple. I find the way sports are covered in America to be viscerally grating as TV reporting covers the action at a glacial pace and seems compelled to spend as much time as possible [...]

Or an ass. Take your pick.
Maurice Sendak is the author of Where the Wild Things Are, which as you know, is a movie in theatres right now. Some people say the film is too scary, like in this awesomely titled article: Where the wild things matured and children cry at theatre.
Now, I don’t begrudge [...]

My wife nabbed these two canvas bug paintings for my son’s room last week for $2 at a garage sale. They have no identifiable markings, are 16″x20″ and seem really familiar. They are not signed, so I trust they are mass-produced. Does anyone know of a website that sells these paintings?
