Quote about our Police State
My wife was looking for her keys and wallet this morning and enlisted the aid our 5-year-old daughter. I mentioned to my daughter that Mom can borrow my keys, but she’ll need her driver’s license to drive the car.
Dad: “You need your driver’s license card in case a police officer pulls you over, to show that you are allowed to drive your car. They don’t just trust what you say. You have to show them.”
Daughter: “Because you don’t want them to cut open your brain just to see if you’re right.”
Yes, indeed. Someone should write a horror story about children becoming the ruling class. Imagine a world where the most obvious and direct actions are taken to achieve goals.
