Right now we keep our diapers, wipes, and assorted supplies in the back pocket of our Kelty tc2.0 carrier. It unzips from the main bag for quick trips into restrooms (something they removed from the newer model btw) but normally is attached so all of our baby stuff is together with the baby when we're out and about. (This is the best dad friendly carrier I've used. Having twins before and now on our third we've gone through just about every kind of lightweight carrier from Bjorn, Ergobaby, and an assortment of slings. The Kelty tc pack is a small backpack, not a huge framed carrier, that holds the kid plus two pockets for diapers/food/clothes. The back pocket unzips for trips to the bathroom and its got a pretty nice waistbelt for when the kid starts to get a little heavy on your shoulders.)

Ideally for a car changing pad, I'd love something that is slightly padded and has a bit of a sideways angle to it. That way it gives you a work surface that is flatter when placed on a seat which usually has a distinct backwards slant to it. More like a scaled down changing pad top thats kinda wedge shaped. Really a single purpose thing and not sure if I'd want to designate space in the car to it, but it should would make changing on a car seat easier.

I wouldn't change anything about our setup. I gave up on traditional diaper bags long ago. I love my Skip Hop Pronto. It is very similar to what you are reviewing. But i got it in the denim color and I often use it as a purse/diaper changing station all-in-one. The only thing better would to be done with diapers!

I'm happy with my current setup-- a changing pad, diapers, and wipes tucked in the pocket behind the front seat. I change diapers in the back of our car all the time.

What I'd really like to see is something that makes changing a diaper in an airplane restroom less horrifying. But you'd probably have to mess with the space-time continuum to do that.

I have found I prefer to use random restroom, with the fold up changing pad I carry with me that looks, well, very like the picture's. Of course, the back of my car is often -- much like a big purse.

I have changed the diaper in the back of my car. The only thing I can think of that I might like is a pillow -- so I can set it on top of whatever happens to be back there, but it is still flat and comfortable for my son.

The big problem with most diaper pads is that they are too small. My son is 2 years old, 28 pounds, and tallish. And most diaper pads seem to be designed for the first 6 months!
