I haven’t nursed in over a year, so I might be off, but this might help with the logistics of trying to nurse in a sling, which I always had difficulty with.

If I had another baby I would definitely give this product a go. I am on the border between gifted and circus act in the breast department, and breast feeding was a constant problem for me… especially on the go. I tried towels and pillows with little success and finally ended up with tendonitis trying to hold everything in the right position for multiple daily feedings. I don’t know if this would have helped, but it would have been worth a try.

I’m just cracking up at my husband’s reaction to the boob hammocks. He already chuckles at my nursing bras on occasion. He’d get a kick out of this.

I’m not sure I’d buy, but then again, I’m not as “gifted” as a J.

I’ve never, ever heard of using a towel. My wrist thanks you.

I have absolutely no use for something like this, since at my largest, engorged period, I was MAYBE a C. Usually nowhere NEAR that! But I know a few women who would highly benefit from one of these. I’ll be getting these for baby showers for those who could benefit, as most of my circle are (or plan to be) short term bfers, and this may help them make it longer than a few months. Give them one less “inconvenience” to complain about ;)

Wrestling a nursing baby in a public place is harder for some anatomies than others. Between figuring out where to put a nursing pad, rearranging your clothing, and keeping an infant from joining with the forces of gravity, I always felt a hand or two short.

A towel takes more space in a bag, and let’s be honest, by the time I get to nursing the child it’s probably been co-opted for barf clean-up, another child’s plaything, or simply been lost in the chaos.

More power to someone who tries to simplify the process.

If we ever have another geek baby, I’ll give you a full report.

hehehe…you said boob…In all seriousness though, it doesn’t look all that comfortable for actually nursing. I too am…GIFTED in the booble area and I used a pair of rolled-up socks. I tried an “Utterly Yours” Breast Pillow with my second. It was comfortable, but worked just as well as my free and plentiful socks. This thing looks like it makes the breast stick too far out. It could work, but OMG, I’d have to endure my husband’s snickering for hours…

As an extremely, um…, GIFTED women, this is not a bad idea at all. Sure, a rolled towel could work, but I think this would be more convenient on the go.
