Four Mildly Disturbing Baby Videos

No, he doesn’t crack his head open on the pavement…

Is it the idea of a toddler unattended on a sled, or that the video being sold is targeted at children as young as 1-year-old? I suppose that the sled is actually being pulled by an off-camera adult makes it all okay, right?

This was working up to some great social commentary, then they totally blew it.

Okay, I really only wanted to share the ‘dog owners who call their dogs their children’ video, but due to its nonsensical overboard conclusion, I figured I’d soften the blow with baby spit-up and the like. The comedy group that produced it, Summer of Tears, needs to refine its style just a little.

Wow…that “Summer of Tears” video was way too disturbing. Especially the ending. And truthfully, I didn’t find it funny. Maybe I have no sense of humor.

But “Asleep on the Jeep” was amusing (and disturbing on a much milder level)

I saw a shortened version of the summer of tears on Tosh.0 (new show on comedy central) and it had me on the floor laughing. I was afraid i would wake up my son! Great vids, all.

I have a low opinion of these Chinese-made motorized gizmos. At least my parents afforded me the opportunity to exercise with my pedal-powered fire truck — not to mention the fact that it’s hard to fall asleep while pedaling.

I did find the “Summer of Tears” video funny. The ending did go off the rails though. For me it would have been funniest just to leave it at the “say bye bye to the cameras” bit.

That first video made me want to scream, take that kid for a nap already! Maybe I’m just jealous though because my son NEVER just falls asleep like that.

Hmm…maybe I’ve lived in the good land for too long, because I didn’t find puppytown disturbing.
