What Every Parent Really Needs

My wife and I were dutifully vegetating on the couch last night watching TV when a commercial for the latest fitness craze presented itself. Okay, maybe this isn’t the latest craze. We’re good couch potatoes, but we don’t watch much TV and thus are out-of-the-loop when it comes to commercial pitches.

We had one thought after seeing adults swiveling their hips back-and-forth on the Ab Circle Pro…

Why the hell doesn’t someone invent an adult Sit ‘N’ Spin?

One industrious person made his own, utilizing industrial wire spool, shopping cart wheels and a Volkswagen steering wheel column. But don’t get your hopes up when you notice an order form at the bottom of his page enticing you to buy one for just $300. The order form is broken. Drat!

Sure, just keeping up with your toddler is a lot of exercise, blah blah blah. But wouldn’t it be fun to see which of you can complete the most revolutions before passing out?

Hey Thinga-readers… I view your interest and acceptance of a particular topic I’ve written about based on how many of you share a comment.

Given that the usual morning commenters are silent, I must now make assumptions about your girth and general state of health due to your shirking away from such an amazing product as the Ab Spin ‘N” Pro Sit Circle.

Wrong AJ. We are all just trying to decide which is better to maintain our sculpted 6 packs, AB Circle Chair, Hawaii Chair or the Ab Lounger.

I was too busy trying to cram my body onto the kids sit and spin and reminiscing about the good ol’ days.

Wow, I’d totally forgotten about sit & spin toys. Man… that brings me back. I wouldn’t be surprised if my parents still have one hidden away somewhere.
