Japanese TV Fun: Zombie vs. Kids

Apparently quality television entertainment in Japan involves scarring young children emotionally for life. Check out these three kids defending their home against a zombie ala the Home Alone movie series. You’ll need to be quick on reading the pop-up captions.

I love the bit about placing a bowl of Tabasco sauce on the floor and telling the zombie he must drink it because it’s blood.

It reminded me of an X-Files episode where it’s established that vampires have obsessive compulsive disorder. So when Mulder later gets attacked, he throws sunflower seeds on the floor of his motel room, forcing the vampire to drop to his knees and pick them up.

Smart kids. I feel bad, though, that they were subjected to that. The kid even called out the reporter telling him that he wasn’t even helping. He was even crying when he was saying that. How can those kids trust adults? To the kids, unknowing it was all a rouse, they saw that the adults around them did nothing…the camera operators and the reporters.

This was possibly one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen. How disgusting that someone would subject their kids to this prank.
