That video totally made my day. What is it about the sound of music that just cheers you up? I would love to have that happen when I was in a crowded place like that, so unexpected.

And 3 cheers for the circ rates going down. Finally, people are getting it. Who knows though, in 30 more years, it might do the old switcheroo again.

I read most of the links. I find it promising about the circ rates. I'd like to see the current stats... hopefully the circ rates are going down even more.

As for the adoption story, it is very thought provoking. I find it interesting how just below the surface our issues of race run. I read about a page full of the comments to that story and was shocked at racial views from the commenters. Whoa.
This nation still has a lot of healing to do.

I don't know what it is about those videos, (there's a bunch of that type, I think), but they ALWAYS make me tear up. Always! Perhaps it's the idea of people getting together for fun to make other people smile.

Love that.

Gotta go read through some of the other links.

Love the video.

Caught the article about cross-race adoption last week. I think that lines are a lot more blurry now than in the past with mixed-race couples and I am not sure this article is right on all counts. I think it is easier now than it would have been ten years ago. My two cents.
