I was just telling my son about how we used to have to get up to change the channel on the TV. Of course, nobody’s invented the automated beer retrieval from the fridge machine yet. I guess that’s why people still are having kids. ;-)

I can’t get enough of that Louis CK on Conan video. I like to tell my daughter about being a remote control when I was a kid. If my parents wanted to channel surf, they would make me get up to turn the knob. Yeah, I said knob.

A friend of mine posted this video on facebook. I love it. It is so true and everything is amazing. We take so much for granted. We are all spoiled. Just taking a nature walk with my daughter the other day it made me realize how amazing the world is and we don’t take time to “take it all in” and appreciate what we have.
