Not surprising to me, AJ. I know other families doing it just fine. Maybe not 18 kids. But 12. The way they do it? Setting priorities and living by them.

My sister and her family lived on $8/hr with 3 kids for quite a long time because it was their priority that my sister would be home with the kids.

Don’t they get paid per episode? Like the Gosselin’s on Jon & Kate Plus 8? For their new house, a lot of the items (like the piano and interior decorator) were donated in exchange for publicity.

Nah, I find it interesting that an 18-kid family supposedly doesn’t receive government assistance and the parents don’t have high-paying jobs and didn’t receive the windfall of a huge inheritance. The inevitable question is… how do they do it?
