I love this idea, adorable cake and the piece out of the middle makes me laugh because it is something my husband would have done and I would have been freaking out!

Thanks for the reminder to just have fun and from now on instead of telling the kids that “they get whatever piece I give them” in true mommmy tone I will be telling them that they get to pick whatever piece they want. :)

Any excuse for birthday cake is a good excuse to me! Great idea….I think we will have to do this next year! We have birthday cake on Christmas too. why not the week after??! :-)
