An Awesome Book

Dallas Clayton is the father of a 5-year-old and he has written and illustrated An Awesome Book.

The book contains rocket-powered unicorns, watermelon boats and a yellow submarine with crab pinchers, among other things. It’s about the value of dreaming big, interesting dreams. He explains in this video:

At this point you may be a little perplexed. Read a few entries from Dallas’ blog to get a feel for the subtle, clever humor and poetry at work here. Too bad the blog doesn’t offer user comments. They’d be equal fun.

View the entire book online (sideways scrolling), then buy it for $15.

The cover didn’t really grab my attention, but the watermelon boats did… so I clicked the link to see the book online. I’m so glad I did, I’m in love with this book.
