Take My One-Question Survey

What did you think of the opening paragraph to the Rookie Mom’s Handbook review? (see article below) I received two responses from people I know, one who laughed and one who called it vulgar. Please, spend 4 seconds to answer my 1-question anonymous survey. Thank you!

Update: The survey is completed. Read the results.

I thought it was a funny reminder that you are male (something that can slip the mind when browsing through my daily list of parenting blogs, when I come here or Daddytypes I often find the reminder helpful) and that the following review of a book orientated at mothers might be much more interesting than if your vajayjay weren’t plastic.

I’ve been looking all over for one of those. I assume it’s made of high quality materials and dishwasher safe?

    Please disclose your source sir.

As a card-carrying member of the real thing, I also thought it was funny, and appropriate for the review. Don’t sweat the political correctness of it ;)

It made me laugh because it is vulgar.

I thought it was quite hilarious. But then again im a card-carrying lesbian who acts in the Vagina Monologues every year, so maybe im not the right person to ask!

As the author of the book, I was totally fine with it. It definitely got my attention and made me want to read more, which is the purpose of an opening sentence. Well done.

I selected “rolled my eyes” on the survey, but I had to dither between it and “smirked”. In reality, I believe I raised my eyebrows and allowed a small upturn to my lips and then moved on with no further thought.
