Winners #42 and #43

Corduroy DVD box cover

Mary from Colorado Springs, Colorado wins Corduroy and More Stories about Caring, a collection of seven stories adapted for DVD (read a synopsis on the contest page).

This new Corduroy
features a combination of live action and stop-motion animation.

A
read-along function is included which highlights words as they are
read, encouraging kids to follow the narration.

Mary reports that one thing that makes Colorado Springs great for raising kids is, "The variety of activities available, such as camping, hiking, fishing, local and state attractions." I’m glad she narrowed it down to one.

Michele from Milwaukie, Oregon wins one of Red Grammer’s six wonderful act-out sing-along children’s albums
(read Thingamababy’s review). She has chosen Down-the-Do-Re-Mi.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the CDs. Grammer produces some of our favorite children’s songs.

Michele reports about raising kids in her home state, "I love Oregon and its liberal vibe. We live in between mountains and
the coast. It is beautiful and there is always outdoor activities for
me and my family to enjoy. People are very active here and it nice to
be surrounded by good healthy activity."

These two winners were randomly selected from comments
posted anywhere on Thingamababy between July 12 and July 18 in the Thinga-Appreciation Giveaways #12 and #13. Thanks for participating on Thingamababy.
