That must be some super deluxe non rotting wood. I would not want to see a kid crash and burn on that thing...looks way more dangerous than the old pogo stick.

It looks dangerous to me! It doesn't seem very maneuverable. I bought our sons one at at yard sale one time. It was a skateboard with tall handles. It didn't move too quickly nor make sharp curves very well. It only worked for them for awhile. Cindi

It looks cool, but I wouldn't pay $100 for it. I'm also quite cheap so maybe I'm not the best judge of "value for price".

I think it looks neat, but the Radio Flyer version that our kids have is IMHO a lot sweeter looking and still has that "vintage" feel to it. Cheers to my older brother for forking out for it as a present for my first born who outgrew it pretty quickly (since he was almost 5 when he got it 3 years ago) it is now being happily steered around by our 2.5 year old "little miss" -yes we use that term too and her stuffed friends.

It seems like an art piece more than a toy; an attempt at nostalgic youth. I can see it in a loft or guest room next to an old baseball glove and one of those leather football helmets.

How cool would it be if they made this from actual recycled citrus boxes? :-)

Normally I have a weakness for wooden things and nostalgia but this looks pretty unwieldy. I too would be tempted to make this rather then buy it because at least then it would be an unwieldy unsafe looking toy that I made.

I must say that the sleds made by that company look AWESOME! I think one may make it's way to our house this winter...

I'd rather sit and make one of these with my child than buy it. I don't even know if I would do that either; but it would be a great project with lessons learned.
Actually, around here it would end up being a great hit; I think we just might do it...
