Space Monkey Defense Tip #1

Photo of my sofa with a variety of different color scarves scattered across it lengthwise.

What’s the story with this photo?

  1. Laundry day.
  2. Heaven’s Gate, phase 2.
  3. Dad and 3-year-old daughter hiding from the space monkeys.

Last weekend we had a heat wave, 91 degrees in the land of 65 degree summers. Air conditioner? What’s that? We had our windows open and heard our neighbor’s dog who likes to squeal-bark. I told my Little Miss there must be space monkeys next door, so we should hide under a blanket. Go get one! Instead, she unearthed every head scarf in her play clothes bin, covered me, then lay on top of me and covered herself.

Remember, if space monkeys can’t see you, they can’t steal your bananas.

I thought it was laundry day, but this is much cuter.
YAY for the fog returning – last week was miserable.
