It’s been over 20 years since my first parenting cycle (she’s getting married this summer) and this time around (18 months old) I’m parenting in the UK. I’m never quite sure if something is different because I’m overseas vs. just spiffy new.

I’m very surprised to find out that this sort of nasal aspirator is NOT common in the U.S. I have a non-branded one from the ‘chemist’. I was suspicious, but the thing really works, though the initial worries of grossness can be hard to overcome.

my husband came across this review and ordered the nose frida right away. It was a lifesaver and still is! I’m happy to share that my baby girl doesn’t scream anymore when she sees it and stays pretty still to let us suck her boogers.

After having a 5 week old baby with a cold and chronic congestion…Nose Frida proved it’s worth 10 times over!! It also gets the boogers in the way back that the bulb does not. Quicker and less scary for baby too.

After your firat review I went ahead and ordered one. Having one baby with a snot problem is one thing...but we have twins and this thing has saved me many bad nights.

Our daughter will rub her nose and when I get Frida out she will shake her head yes. A little saline and a suck or two and she is clear.

Our son is another story...he screams and crys no matter what.

Some of our friends think it's gross but it's on my list of things to buy for the next baby shower I go to!

This looks really fantastic! We have to use the bulb aspirator pretty often, and the little guy haaaates it, and we have to do it over and over. May have to try this.

Interesting item. I was shocked to see our babysitter, from Burkina Faso, put her mouth on my son’s nose to suck out the snot. I’m not kidding.

We were living in Japan when our son was born (he’s now 2 and we’re back in the States) and we used a Pigeonbaby (a Japanese brand) nose sucker- pretty much the same thing. Worked SO much better than the stupid bulb thing, which really didn’t work at ALL.
