Photo History: Young Me, Now Me
Young Me, Now Me is a gallery of childhood photos recreated by now-grown kids. If you saw this phenomenon on social networks earlier this month, recheck it out — the gallery is now complete. What can you say? It’s a fun idea for everyone to try.
Okay, so these photos are not so much a gallery as they were a competition among readers of the Color Wars 2008 website. People form teams and then participate in various real-world challenges which culminate in some form of activity that is often demonstrated through images or video. Also check out the three winners of this particular challenge.

I’m sorry to have missed such a contest. That would have been fun! I might take new pictures anyway. :o)

What a fun idea. Some of those were amazing. I loved the ones with siblings or parents and kids!

Hi! Thanks for sharing the great pictures and website. I was on someone’s blog recently and the husband had pictures of himself young and tried to recreate that photo, but with his current age. Cindi

I personally like the two selections you posted better than any of the winning ones. The guy on the pot is hilarious – and brave. :-)

My friends have a picture like this up on their wall. They found the picture of father at about 6 months old when their son was the same age. They found similar clothes for the son and posed him in a similar pose, then took a picture. They printed them with the father (B&W) picture inset on the son picture.
Its awesome. (Son is now 16 years old)
