Vincent Shoe Winner Rubbing It In
Oh, not really. I invited the winners of the Name My Baby Boy Contest to send in photos of their kids wearing the Vincent Shoes they won. Amber obliged with photos of 9-month-old Allison sporting Mary Jane-style Love shoes.
Yeah, 9 months is a little early for walking (and barefoot is probably better when learning to walk), which is why Amber ordered them a little large. If Allison looks puzzled, it’s because these are her first pair of shoes.
Kudos to Amber for the cloth backdrop for the photos. It works great for a baby product blog *cough*, but for family, let some of the clutter of your home show. You’re not just capturing your child in a moment in time, but also her environment. In just a few years it will be fascinating to also look back at how much your home or yard or community has changed.

Totally cute. But this loser is a little miffed at having it all rubbed in. :o( Don’t worry, I’ll get over it as my bare-footed child has nothing to put on her shoe tree…

I know what you mean about photo backgrounds. When I look back at my old baby photos, what’s in the background (toys, people, etc) is just as fascinating as seeing myself as a baby.

cute. I can’t believe how fast she got her shoes.
I have yet to order some shoes. They have sold out of the size and style that I was wanting. I’m waiting for the spring styles to come in.
