I was going to submit the name Griffin, but I see someone’s beat me to it (I’m guessing you’ll get multiple submissions for some names, but after you’ve posted one on the site, I’d just look like one-upping copycat). Take another look at that image though–that’s not a gryphon at all.

There are a lot of great names in both posts, but I have the name Galen stuck in my mind as well. It unique enough, strong sounding and goes with just about any last name I can think of.

Of course, the playground taunts of "Gaylord" and worse are inevitable. But the average male is probably 'accused' of being gay 10k times before they reach voting age anyway and a 'gay' name won't change that.
