The husband and wife were both farmers. He had on overalls and a straw hat, carried a pitch fork. She had her hair in braids, a straw had, a flannel shirt, long pants. Her shirt was unbuttoned to reveal her very full stomach which was painted as a Jack-O-Lantern. She carried her arms around her belly most of the night. We actually had a halloween party/shower, so it was fun to come in costume (and I didn't have to stuff the pumpkin to make it look round). </p> <p>This year Grandma just added some little pumpkins for the 3 and 1 year old so we're going as a pumpkin patch.</p> My mom made me a pumpkin costume when I was pregnant with my first — and one for my husband.
