Christina, it depends on what part of California you're talking about. The state is 250 miles wide and 770 miles long. There are parts that receive heavy snowfall (the Sierra Nevada mountain range for example).

Here on the northern coast winters usually range in the low 40s to upper 50s. I can drive about 40 minutes to light snow for a few weeks in December or January, enough to play in, but it snows at the beach maybe once a decade.

I bought my twin girls the Robin style Vincent shoes this fall. I too am way too in love with them. Very comfy, very versatile. They insist on wearing them everyday. Wish i could afford another pair (well 2 pairs, of course). Ah, someday.

Heather, the sole of the FACE slipper is very flexible. The soles of the other two shoes are about as flexible as a standard shoe, maybe a little firmer than See Kai Run, softer than a Keds.

I’m curious — how flexible are the soles on the Vincent shoes? are they as flexible as the See Kai Run or the Pedoodles or the cheap chinese squeaky shoes?

The Stan is a great shoe for kids who get their feet stuck on the tongue of most shoes. My son's Stan shoes were worn almost daily all last fall and winter and still look very good. Too bad his feet grew!
Our experience with our next pair was not as good. When we ordered a sandal last spring, the velcro came off the strap within a few days. I emailed the company, hoping they would pay to get them fixed. Their response was, "another pair of shoes are on their way" and they showed up two days later.
This was great customer service, but unfortunately within a week the velcro came off the strap of the new shoes (again the left shoe!) and I had to get both pairs fixed. My son's solution was to wear both right shoes, but that didn't work for me. Parents are so picky.
Despite these problems, I would still consider buying shoes from Vincent again. I trust them to make things right if there is a problem.

D’oh! Good catch. When I went to grab the links, I browsed through the thumbnails and didn’t notice that ADAM has the same shape as VIKTORIA, but with a different stitching pattern. I’ve corrected the article. Alas, now my daughter has only one male-named shoe.

The Adam IS a girls shoe...it's the Viktoria! I went there looking for the red Adam. They are super cute shoes! Looks like one store in my area carries them, I'll have to go check them out!
