This Interruption Brought to you by PG&E

Our electricity is out for the fourth time this year (fourth time lasting six or more hours). This time the universe really has it in for me, with just half our block out, and some Pacific Gas & Electric folks looking busy on our street.  My PC’s UPS says it’s out of juice, so I may or may not get a post up today. In the meantime, check out the latest Threadless Kids T-shirt designs. I like Adventurer, Defend the Kingdom, and Sea Saw II.

They are really neat shirts but I can’t justify spending $17 for a T-shirt.

Our power was out this weekend too. I did what I always do:

    1. Dig out and plug in corded phone.
    2. Make sure computer and all lights/electrical things are turned off.
    3. Remind self not to flush toilet.
    4. Eat ice cream with giant spoon directly from carton… what? You don’t want that stuff to melt and go to waste do you?

    Yay, yummy electricity is back.

John, yeah, I would only spend $17 on a T-shirt for myself if I really loved the design. And I expect a toddler T-shirt to be less expensive. But, that’s why grandparents were invented.
