Rules for Photo Submissions in the Caption Contest
You are invited to submit photos to be considered for use in the Thingamababy Caption Contest.
Photos should be related to kids or parenting, somewhere in the pregnancy to preschool age time frame.
Not all contests will use a submitted photo, but if your photo is used in a contest, you will receive a prize. The prize might be the same as the one awarded for the best caption in the contest where your photo is featured or a substitute prize that you may, or may not, consider to be reflective of glory you deserve.
How to Submit your Photo
Send your photo to the e-mail address shown in the upper right-hand corner of this page. The photo should be of the highest quality possible, not resized or
shrunk. I will resize, crop and/or adjust the photo as I consider
appropriate. You will not receive a response unless your photo is being considered. Thanks!
- It must be your photo and you must own the rights to it.
- You have obtained consent for contest usage from the people depicted in the photo. In the case of minors depicted in a photo, you have obtained consent from their parents or legal guardians.
- You consent to the photo being published on Thingamababy in perpetuity and its being subjected to the unpredictability of user-written captions. You retain the copyright to your photo.
If I don’t receive any photos I feel are worth using in a contest, I
will substitute my own photo and no photographer prize will be awarded.
These rules may be updated in the future irrespective of the original
published date attached to this article. It’s a blog. What do you
That’s it! Have fun!
