Great, thorough review. I bought this stroller based on the info on this site and I am glad I did. I also own a monster double stroller to run with the kids but when I only take one child running on paved greenways,I take the Mia Moda. It does great and the tires aren't noisy at all. The stroller also does well in park settings (mulch, grass, packed dirt).

It isn't the lightest single stroller I have owned but certainly not the heaviest. I decided after 6 strollers that I am willing to use a heavier stroller that is more solidly built, rather than one that is ultra lightweight and harder to maneuver. I've had some light ones that don't really clear door thresholds very well (Peg Perego) and just feel flimsy despite their reputation for being "high end". If the Terra has been discontinued, that would be too bad, because they function well and look cool to boot. :-)

DOes anyone know why it has been discontinued from the mia moda line? I would really like to get this stroller, but was wondering if a new model, etc. would be coming out.

This was one of the best reviews that I have read on any stroller. I have spent many hours clicking through different sites and none answered my questions as well.

We just received the Terra stroller in the mail the other day. We purchased it at BabiesRUs online ($140) and got it shipped within 3 days (standard mail). My husband put it together in under 2 min. It's so easy to do! We had the Chicco Cortina stroller but returned it do to a loud squeeking noise in the tires. I also did not like the fact that my 4 month old looked like he was runing out of room on the sides. I am not a fan of the old fashion looking strollers and prefer the modern looking one's anyday. We were deciding between the Terra and the Energi and got this one as you pay $80 more foe the Energi and the only real difference is 1 less tire. So far, I like it a lot! The fabric is a "velvet" type which is a nice change. The seat is padded a bit so it provides a nice cushion. The only negatives that I will say is the storage down bellow is not great. The bar as mentioned above really does get in the way, but I can still fit a small diaper bag there. Also, there is some type of netting at the top of the stroller under the canopy. It's not too much of a problem now but I dont know what will happen when my son grows and his head reaches further up. Overall, I am very surprised that hardly any stores sell it. If I were BabiesRUS, I would definately display a model of this brand on the floor. It's just so different from the other brands that they carry. Overall, I'm a fan!

I was looking for a stroller and i fall in love with the mia moda energie.i had never seen someone to use this model. Then i decided and ordered mia moda energie travel system(in red color).
When i first saw the stroller i liked that, but i had some hesitations about its comfort for the baby. After delivery my baby first i used carseat and it seamed to me that it is not as comfrotable as Graco carseat. Then i used stroller also as a travel system and alone without carseat. After a week or 3 its wheels became harder than before, the back wheels made sound when i ride it at the mall or market.and when i closed the stroller the baby food tray touched the ground and a few strech marks appeared and were seen. With one word it looks beautifull but it is not comfortable and durable.I returned to Graco quatro tour travel system, the best stroller in USA.

Hi,
I have bought "facile" as a second stroller. I've thought it would be usefull during our trip, it reclines and my 22 months old daughter might takea nap when we are exploring around. However, only after 4 days the child footrest that can be positioned down or up was broken. It was impossible for her to sleep in that anymore. 2 days later one of the wheels was broken.
I don't think I would recommend it to anyone

I have been trying to contact Mia Moda to get the front wheels of my Spirito replaced and I can never get a hold of anyone. The recording tells me to leave a message and they will call me back in one day, I have left 4 and no return call. I love my stroller, its the best, but I am turned off by the customer service. Do you know of a better number, I called 866-miamoda. Thank you for your time.

Hi, it looks like I'm the only one with a bad experience with Mia Moda Strollers so far. I bought the FACILE one and only last for 45 days, one of the wheels got broken. I used the stroller just for the weekends because I work full time. I love the stroller and I was very happy when I contacted the customer service department and in less than 2 weeks I have a new stroller, but by mistake they sent me a CIELO one, I didn't complaint because it looked nice, I knew it was more expensive and I had the feeling it would be better. But I was completely wrong, I had the stroller for a month already and one of the wheel is giving me a hard time already, folding the stroller is not that easy like they showed in the website video, the seat is not comfortable, after a few times we seat the baby on it we found out she hates the stroller, she couldn't even take a nap the other day at the mall, the seat doesn't recline at all. My baby just a year old, and I don't think her 22lbs. are too much weight for those wheels, so it must be a manufacturer problem. Solution I just went back to use her laura Ashley "heavy" stroller for now until we find a good one
