I like the new redesign, however, I don’t like having to click on something everytime I want to read an entire article. Because I normally read all of your articles, whether they pertain to my childs age or not!

At first I found all the colors a bit shocking. I guess I had gotten used to the old look, although the first time I went to your site then, I thought it was a bit spare. But then I figured, "Well, he's a guy. Don't they tend to like things simple?" And I commenced to getting used to it.

Looking at it a while longer, I find the blue bars growing on me, even with the busy hearts. I think it warms up the site a bit more, although it seems to mask that you, the site originator, are male. It sort of feminizes things (from my pov). I might miss the bars if you got rid of them all the way, but I'd be interested to see how things would look if it were possible to only have them on the left, not the right (not exactly easy to do with the way the CSS is set up, perhaps).

I do think that I'm in favor of minimzing the Orange in the sidebars as one way to declutter without scrapping whole elements of this design. I like the orange against the blue as it exists in the banner and the background... but I think its use along the side may be a touch much.

I enjoy the redesign – it is refreshing. I love the new logo/name art and the added coloring. I would agree with others that the content section of the web page needs to be wider – possibly only have one side bar and not both! Keep up the great work – I check thing a ma baby every day and it never ceases to encourage me as a first time parent (4 mo. old daughter).

Rosemary, thanks for catching the TITLE tag glitch. That's my flub in how I implemented Buz's design in my blogging software. Whew, that would have become a big problem if not caught fast. It's fixed now.
