		<description>&lt;p&gt;Thank you for the link to that story.  I&#039;m a new mom--my daughter is 8 weeks old--and I&#039;m already beside myself with how fast these few weeks have gone by.  I already miss that little newborn.  I think maybe we never appriciate how precious time is until we become parents.&lt;/p&gt;

I just re-read &quot;Miracle and other Christmas Stories&quot; by Connie Willis, a science fiction author.  My favorite is a story about a father and daughter who find comfort in books when they are separated at Christmas time.  It references &quot;A Little Princess&quot; and &quot;A Christmas Carol&quot;, and I can&#039;t imagine a parent reading it with dry eyes.&lt;/p&gt;
