My first born we responded to almost immediately, and she's not a big suck. My second born was left to self soothe a LOT more, due to a few reasons. Now, she cries at EVERYTHING. I'm hoping that once she really starts talking, it will stop, but in the meantime, I use it as a great illustration that you really cannot spoil a baby.</p> I believe it.
