Ugly Baby Stickers

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that kids love stickers. They truly do.

Sticker with a drawing of a baby with a bag over its head. A text label reads, I lost an ugly baby contest. My folks are so proud.
Sticker with a drawing of a baby with a bag over its head. A text label reads, Do Not Remove. Ugly Baby Inside.I’m mailing these ugly baby stickers today to everyone who entered the Ugly Baby Contest and gave me their mailing address. The sticker at right would look great on a breast pocket or maybe a forehead. The sticker on the left is designed for placement on a paper grocery bag (never plastic!). The next time you are asked, “Paper or plastic?” at the grocery store, say “For my child’s life, paper please.”

It’s all in good fun, folks.

Kenneth and Elaine Love over at designed the cool paper bag kid for the sticker. And they did it pro bono either because they’re just really nice, or because they are riding high on a wave of pregnancy adrenaline. The Loves are expecting their first beautiful baby next month. You know Kenneth, we expect to see pictures of your lovely new little Love.

Well, the sticker wouldn’t be what it is without the Loves. Keep in mind my first draft, minus cool graphics:

Did I mail you my address when I sent the picture in? If not, let me know. I’d love to have a loser sticker for my daughter’s baby book ;)

Hey AJ, I never got my stickers! Don’t know if you have any more and could resend them? Maybe you don’t have my correct info or something? I don’t know, but I was really looking forward to them.

Alas, many folks didn’t give me their mailing address because it wasn’t required to enter the contest. Anyone who didn’t receive stickers (but did enter the contest) can e-mail me their shipping address and I’ll gladly ship out some stickers.
