Baby Formula Recall: Enfamil Gentlease Lipil

One batch (BMJ19) of 24 ounce Enfamil Gentlease Lipil baby foruma, sold at Target, Wal-Mart and Raley’s stores, has been recalled. From the news release, “Tests conducted by Mead Johnson detected small particles of metal in a portion of this batch.”

Unrelated: I had an Internet outage last night. A new post will come later today or tomorrow. In other news, debate rages on in an old Regis and Kelly post, hitting 50 comments today. Nothing egenders suspicion and outage better than a baby photo contest. Shame on the House of Regis!

how did small particles of metal end up in baby formula? And have they tested all of the others to make sure none got into them, or the 12 oz. cans? This is not a very comforting thing to hear about. And if it weren’t for my mom i wouldn’t have even known. What effects will this have on my child if they have ingested any amount of these particles?

WHAT ARE THE SIDE AFFECTS THAT WE AS MOTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN
FEEDING OUR BABIES SHOULD LOOK FOR? HOW LONG HAS THIS RECALL
BEEN IN AFFECT BECAUSE THE WALMART IN MY TOWN DIDNT EVEN HAVE THIS ITEM LISTED AS A RECALL. THERE ASSOCIATES WERENT AWARE THAT THIS ITEM WAS EVEN ON RECALL. IT WASNT POSTED ANYWHERE THROUGH OUT THE STORE. I JUST HAPPENED TO GO ON LINE TO SEE HOW IT WOULD COST TO ORDER IT AND I CAME ACROSS THIS ….. MAKES YOU WONDER HOW LONG THIS ITEM WAS ON THE SHELF, BEFORE THEY EVEN PULLED IT OFF, OR JUST RAN OUT OF THE ITEM…I ASKED AN ASSOCIATE IF THEY HAD ANYMORE IN THE BACK OF THERE STOCKROOM, AND THE ASSOCIATE WENT TO LOOK FOR ME..THAT TELLS YOU THERE THAT THEY WERENT EVEN AWARE OF THIS RECALL…….
MAKES YOU WORRY, IF RETAILERS ARENT TELLING THERE ASSOCIATES OF THESE RECALLS HOW ARE WE AS CUSTOMERS SUPPOSE TO KNOW OF THE DANGERS THAT COULD BE HAPPENING TO OUR CHILDREN…NOT EVERYONE HAS A COMPUTOR……
