Potty Time Singing Bear

Finally someone has created a teddy bear which proclaims its bowel prowess with song and dance! Learning Through Entertainment, Inc. produces the Potty Time Bear who sings an infectious little jig titled, "I’m a Super Duper Pooper!"

Potty Time Bear wearing a diaper and appearing to moveCheck out this video of the bear in action. Spoiler alert… although the bear jiggles and shakes and sings about defecation, there is no lifelike pooping action to speak of. Although, the bear wears a diaper, so who knows.

Companion accessories include a book, a DVD/video and "Super Duper Pooper!" stickers for your child to proudly wear. Be sure to take lots of photos with Junior wearing the sticker for blackmailing purposes in ten years.

Reading through the company’s web site, I gather that the video and book are the primary teaching tools. I have to disagree. Their Potty Learning Program page advises, "Parents should observe the child’s habits and look for signs indicating
a readiness to use the toilet." I can think of no better sign that my daughter has to go potty than if she were to launch into a song and dance number. Brilliant. Skip the media and just buy the bear.

I’m a Super Duper Pooper,
I can potty with the best.
No more diapers to get in my way,
I bet you are impressed!

I’m a Super Duper Pooper,
I know when I have to go.
Take a bow, I’m a big kid now,
I’m the best pooper you know!

I think this bear is inspired by the video “It’s Potty Time” which cronicals a boy named Bobby and his friends on his birthday. The production is a little cheesy and dated (very 1990s) but my son loved the video. And you can hear the original rendition of “Super Dooper Pooper!” http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00018D4J0/103-1317729-3778219?v=glance&n=130&v=glance

I have been looking everywhere for another bear for my daughter. I had one for my older daughter and it worked wonderfully. Does anyone know where I can buy the bear for our youngest?

    Thank you so very much.

We potty trained our daughter when she was 2 years old. We showed her the video before start training for more than few times. She start getting an idea of she is going to get rid of her diaper. When training started, she wore only pants not diaper. Every time she goes in her pants or at bathroom, we play the singing bear. There were a lot of cleaning, however, potty training was completed in 10 days.

Yes, I am a proud Mom!
