My son has autism and has fine motor skill issues. We gave on of these to the day care center and they love it. No more spills but he is not on a sippy cup. It was a gift so I would like to get more for home.

HELP!!!!
My son has a cleft lip/pallet. In the struggle to come across a cup that will work for him we are at a stand still. His Doctors do not want him to learn to drink for any sippy cup that takes suction. The first reason being he is missing his pallet and it will be difficult and a waste of his energy trying to get liquid out of a cup. Then the most important reason being that his next surgery when they repair his pallet he can not suck on anything for a minimum of 2 weeks. If he does it could tear the freshly closed pallet.

I came across Drink Up Cup by Playtex, it appears to be the perfect solution. However they are discontinued. Please help me track some down.

Thank-you

This is a great cup! I just recently found some new on ebay since they have been discontinued for a few years now. My son is adjusting to it quite well. He prefers to place his top teeth over the "tip n sip seal" and activate it by biting it. Hey, whatever works!! :) I bought these because they are so different and so NOT the average sippy cup since they are spout-less. My son has never been fond of "spouted" cups anyway as he flat out refuses to drink from them, so we have always had to be creative when looking around for the right cups.
