Book Review: The Night Before Kindergarten
A friend’s 4.75-year-old is experiencing his first day of kindergarten today. Yesterday we gave him a book we just discovered, The Night Before Kindergarten written by Natasha Wing and illustrated by Julie Durrell.
Wing has written seven other "Night Before" books covering Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, summer vacation, the tooth fairy’s arrival and a new baby’s arrival.
‘Twas the night before kindergarten, and as they prepared,
kids were excited and a little bit scared
They tossed and they turned about in their beds,
while visions of school supplies danced in their heads.
