Friday Fun: Darth Vader
Let’s look at everyone’s favorite dad, Darth Vader.
Darth shares the softer side of his dark ponderings on his blog, The Darth Side: Memoirs of a Monster. In Vader’s Parenting 101 [blogspot.com] entry we find a half-funny, half-serious look at the day dad chopped off his son’s hand.
There is a bit of funny extraneous dialogue celebrating father-son hatred in the Missing Scene from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. [firsttvdrama.com]
Matthew Baldwin shares a personal story of childhood trauma in Darth Vader Made Me Cry [themorningnews.com], which is an expanded story originally posted on his blog, Defective Yeti [www.defectiveyeti.com]
Who wouldn’t like a Darth Vader baby crib [halfbakery.com] that comforts their child with a deep voice?
And to round out our Darth expose, here are some Darth Vader photos posted on Flickr.com:
- Darth riding in the back seat
- Who’s Your Daddy? T-shirt
- Action sequence
- Darth Liam
- Darth daughter
- Darth Piglet
- Darth rationalizing with a toddler
The Vader photo featured on this page is the Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet [starwarsshop.com].
