It's true that when a baby is hungry they will gulp down a bottle regardless of it being room temp or warmed up, but we never tried to give her a bottle that was straight from the fridge or the travel cooler bag. What we did was use a pyrex measuring cup to put water in, warmed that water up in the microwave for roughly a minute and a half - 2 minutes, and then put the bottle in the warmed up water for about 2 minutes (time varies depending on how much formula is in the bottle). It worked great and we had a bottle go from fridge temp to warm in less than 5 minutes. That was up till 2 months old. After 2 months, since the # of bottles a day had decreased and she was sleeping through the night, we've just been using warm tap water and making bottles as necessary.

Does anybody know of a glass bottle that accomodates the wide Avent rings and nipples? I have quite an investment in nipples and hate to start over 100%.

I bought the Evenflo bottles with sleeves. I thought they didn't have rings, because I was unscrewing them with the cap on. I called, and they told me that you have pull the cap off. :o) I felt kinda stupid, but the rings were in so tightly that they looked like part of the cap.

Just to let you know that if you ever buy Evenflo bottles and they do not come with nipples, cap ring, and hood, they are NOT distributed by Evenflo OR approved by the manufacturer and you should SEND THEM BACK!

Apparently the glass bottles by evenflo ANY standard size nipple, ring and cap will fit on these bottles. This bottle will work with a
standard size nipple and ring from Evenflo, Gerber, Avent, Playtex and many more brands.
The only nipples and rings that will not work are the wide mouth type.

I found just the bottle cap rings by emailing Evenflo directly. The representative said that Toys R Us carries a three pack of plain rings. The rings can also be ordered by calling Evenflo at 1-800-233-5921. The rings are $1.59 for a three-pack, plus shipping and handling.

I am glad a few people are looking for the cap rings for the Evenflo glass bottles ... ours are splitting/cracking ... we may be putting them on too tight or maybe they were weakened by using the dishwasher a few times or they are just a little weak. Any news about where to buy cap rings?

I'm also looking for the rings!! We looked everywhere and cannot find any.... its stupid that you can buy extra nipples but not the rings. My husband left the nipples, rings, caps sterilizing a little too long and now they're no good. Please help!! Willing to order online as well but no luck with that either......

Thanks!
