I know this is a really old post, but I was wondering if you'd tested out gDiapers, and the search brought up this post..
We're using them full time on our 11 month old now, and will start our new baby on them at birth..
They're great! I HIGHLY recommend them, both from an environmental standpoint, and comfort standpoint for the child.

FYI, the starter kits include 2 outers and 10 refills, Amazon has great prices on bulk diapers (including gDiaper inserts)
We bought 2 starter kits ($26) and ended up with 4 outers so we can keep clean ones available (occasionally poop will creep out if its a big one) and that's much cheaper than just buying their "designer" outers separately ($18 each)

Anyway, thought you'd be interested, in case you needed a new product to review :)

Great that you use cloth. Have you heard of or tried g diapers? www.gdiapers.com. They are flushable inserts that go into a cloth diaper cover. I have used them for a year and love them. Many people also use cloth in the g diaper cover and flushables when out to avoid disposables all together.

Fuzzi Bunz are also great. (I find they do better for my super-soaker overnight.) However, they aren't a one-size solution, which means you need to buy the right size, and buy larger ones as the babe gets older. (You can resell them as they are outgrown though.)

I also LOVE Green Acre Design diapers. They are a bit more expensive, but you can get a custom diaper in a variaty of prints on the outside and inside - you even get to pick the snap colors! http://greenacredesigns.com/

I found your column a couple of days ago and was intrigued to read a dad-blog. Today, seeing your posts on cloth diapering, I am definitely a fan! I've never heard a dad tout the cloth before. Haven't tried wonderoos yet, but I'm thinking I'll check them out now. You'll definitely be on my blogroll!
